Mo Mfinanga
Detroit born and bred, Mahmoud “Mo” Mfinanga, is a Los Angeles and Brooklyn-based photographer and photo editor who in 2013 created Emmazed, a community-oriented online platform for lens-based artists. Never having gone to college, Emmazed became a vehicle for educating Mo and the community he’s nurtured about the climate of photography and how it’s not reflective of the reality it exists within. Often called “Larry David’s long lost black son”, Mo appreciates the title: “the dude with the beverage-based playlists.”
